This notice is to inform all digital video customers of the upcoming required changes to your video service. We upgraded our video encryption platform from Verimatrix to Innocryption on July 16, 2024. Customers will not notice any changes other than the current SD channels with available HD content are now HD content and quality. The Verimatrix encryption service ended on September 27, 2024. Any DVR recording content prior to the Innocryption conversion date of July 16, 2024 are still working until the Verimatrix server is shutdown. At this time, the date is unknown, and recordings listed in the DVR folders will remain until the customer manually deletes the assets. On December 2, 2024 Cooperative Telephone Exchange will be removing the current HD channel numbers 430 through 742 since they are duplicate channels. This change will cause issues with video channel numbers and your DVR recordings. We are suggesting customers view and delete any current series recordings set up on HD channel numbers and set up new recordings on the SD channel numbers. Once the current HD channels are removed, any recordings set to these channel numbers will not be recorded. The local channels 5, 8, 11, 12, 13, 17, 19, 23, and 29 will not be removed. Customers will have the same programming and will see the best quality version of all the channels but will have the current SD channel numbers with no duplicates.
